For vest harness you only need chest measurement. This guide works for RATIA vest harness for example.

Chest measurement

  •  The chest measurement is best to take 5cm(2inches) behind the front legs and directly up to the chest on top of back.
  • Measure tightly around chest (tip: keep finger between measurement tape and dog)
  • Notice that thick furred dogs might need a little bit more space under vest harness
