Why is grain not recommended for cats?

Many cat foods contain grain, as it is a cheap raw material that keeps the price of the food low. Even if your cat is not allergic to grain, it will not benefit from grain. On the other hand, grain can only be harmful: smelly feces and a loose stomach can be caused by the grain the cat eats, and in addition, grains can irritate the cat's intestines. Grains also contribute to the accumulation of excess weight.

What does the cat eat?

The cat is a carnivore, therefore meat is very important in its diet. In low-quality cat foods, the meat content may be only 4%.
In ERA dry foods, the proportion of animal protein is 70 - 75 % and in wet foods as much as 85%.
The first ingredient in ERA foods is always fresh meat.
